1-800-Flooded was called by a local roofing contactor to a site where a roof repair was being done. 4 years ago they other roofing company came across rotted out decking when installing the new roof. After removal of the decking, mold was discovered on the roof trusses. Instead of addressing, the old roofing company put pressed plywood over the area.
This time the homeowner called a much better roofing company. The roofer removed the old decking to find the mold still on the trusses. 1-800-Flooded came to the site and was able to perform minor mold remediation to resolve the issue.
The homeowner was quite pleased and noticed a moldy smell in the house was now gone.
