New homeowner of a newly constructed home were surprised to find water damage in their new home. Just moving in two weeks earlier, they found that a pipe connection in the wall had failed.

Since it was fresh water (category 1 water loss) it was not much of a health threat.

The areas affected were the bedroom with carpet and closet.

1-800-Flooded was called by an insurance company to go to a condo on the second floor where the water heater had failed. Upon arrival, it was found the water migrated into the neighboring unit below as well.

Since it was category 1 fresh water, structural drying was performed and some items were dried in place.

The rebuild will be completed by a preferred vendor from the insurance company.
